Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved Global ATS Ltd UK (GATS) as an ATC Training Organisation in accordance with KCASR Part ATCO Regulations to deliver the following ATC training modules:
DGCA Kuwait responsibilities include the operation of Kuwait International Airport with 111,600 commercial movements and passenger numbers increasing to 13.7 million in 2017. A Kuwait International Airport upgrade project (2.5 billion KWD) is in progress which will provide capacity of up to 25 million passengers.
Murray Cole, Chairman Global ATS Ltd, said: “We are delighted to be the DGCA Kuwait approved ATC Training Provider and to be welcoming a wide range of young Kuwait students to the Global ATS Academy in Cheltenham, United Kingdom. I am confident that Global ATS Training Program will meet or exceed DGCA Kuwait’s expectations.”
