Global ATS has recently achieved Approved Learning Provider status for the MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) by Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services (ELCAS). Military personnel are now able to claim ELC credits against the cost of Air Traffic Control (ATC) training with Global ATS ELC provider ID 2014. The MOD’s ELC promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. The scheme provides financial support in each of a maximum of three separate financial years.
Marcus Mimms, Global ATS Managing Director, said, “Global ATS is extremely proud to join other approved training organisations supporting military personnel leaving the UK armed forces, especially for those who are planning to resettle into industry after a career in the military.”
Global ATS Academy Director, Andy Cameron added, “It is great that Global ATS are ELCAS approved. Air Traffic Control is a challenging & rewarding profession that provides fantastic career opportunities, the industry is highly regulated and safety conscious, that requires a disciplined approach to learning. The industry naturally aligns itself well with many military professions. As such, we have seen many ex-military personnel come through the college and complete their training, I’m pleased that future candidates have the opportunity to benefit from the ELCAS scheme.’’
